Divider Beam Kit™

• Complete kit to mount to divider beams Smart Elevator Tech, LLC ladders including:

               SmartLadder™
               SmartGate Ladder™
               Retracta Ladder®
               Adjusta Ladder™

• The Divider Beam Kit™ (DBK) can support one (1) ladder or two (2) ladders back-to-back.
• Order a Double Divider Beam Kit™ (DDBK) for 3-section ladders for deep pit - has mounting stanchions above and below the divider beam.
• Can accommodate divider beams 3¼” to 6” wide and up to 10” high.
• Divider beams may be HSS (tube steel) or I-beam (standard or wide flange).
• Divider beam top-of-steel (TOS) may be from 6” above to 12” below the elevator sill. For pits over 8½’ up to 10’ and TOS above
  the sill, may require field drilling ladder risers to relocate lower brackets.
• DBK includes all hardware and fasteners needed for mounting two (2) ladders, except concrete screws / wedge anchors for bottom ladder bracket floor anchorage.
• Model #DBK for pits 4’- 6’ deep. Model #DDBK for pits over 6’ up to 10’.
• Meets ASME A17.1/CSA B44.

Field labor is typically the most expensive element of new elevator installation.  Field ordering, designing and fabricating custom support components to mount ladders to divider beams can consume expensive time and materials.  Having a simple, easy to install kit in a box, delivered with the Smart Elevator Tech, LLC ladder(s) will save considerable cost and effort.  

The Divider Beam Kit™​ from Smart Elevator Tech, LLC will work with virtually any size or location pit divider beam. The DBK should be installed prior to the installation of the pit divider screening to avoid modifications to accommodate the DBK.
